An SNF-Bridge grant was approved to push the pressure sensor nanotechnology towards the commercialization of medical applications, e.g. implantable pressure sensors in artificial muscle implants for incontinence treatment.

joins the team

J. v. Jackowski joins the team

Jeannette v. Jackowski approached the team with the idea to combine the unique sensor technology with traditional myofunctional therapy for interactive tongue training. The vision to digitalize old-fashioned therapy approaches in oral health care fascinated us and turned out to be a great business opportunity due to the variety of clinical needs we could serve. She is rewarded with an MD-PhD fellowship in Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Biomedical engineering, university of Basel to conduct medical research focusing on detecting tongue dysfunctions.
